Communion.
At Calvary, we receive Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
In the Church of the Nazarene, we believe Communion (also called
The Lord's Supper or the Eucharist) is a means of grace. This simply means that as we receive the body (a cracker) and the blood (grape juice) of Christ, God is pouring out God's grace onto our lives. We also belief Communion to be a sacrament — a means by which we have a holy encounter with God.

At Calvary, we observe an open table. That means that you don’t have to be a member of our local church or the Church of the Nazarene to participate. If you are open to God pouring out God's grace on your life, you are welcome.

COMMUNION INSTRUCIONS: During our worship gathering, usually after the sermon, we will provide further instructions on how to receive Communion. We receive Communion by INTINCTION - meaning that you will come to one of the Pastors at the altar at the front of the sanctuary and you will be handed a piece of cracker; then you will go over to another one of our Pastors and dip your cracker into the cup of grape juice; you then may eat your cracker and return to your seat.
